What is Dragathon?

Dragathon is our annual school fundraiser where students seek sponsorship in a fun run. This event is crucial to bolstering our school's programs, aiding our dedicated teachers, and enhancing our facilities.
Dragathon is our annual school fundraiser where students seek sponsorship in a fun run. This event is crucial to bolstering our school's programs, aiding our dedicated teachers, and enhancing our facilities.
We invite all families to join us at the event to cheer on our students as they run with a purpose.
We've set a fundraising goal of $25,000 and we believe we can get there with the participation of each and every one of our students.
What is it for?
This year, we're raising funds to fulfill various essentials for our school, including:
- New P.E. equipment
- Safe playground gear like a professional volleyball net
- Printing and laminating supplies
- New office paper shredder
- Support teacher purchases of "nice to have" items that enhance student learning in Science, Art, Reading, Math and more.
How do I get started?
Easily create a fundraising page for each of your Oak Chan Students using the 99Pledges platform.
1. Click or scan the QR code.
2. Fill in your student's full Name, Email, and Teacher (group) and click Add.
3. Send the page to friends and family to donate to our school.
Will there be prizes?
To encourage our students, we'll be awarding the following prizes for participation:
- Each participant will be gifted a keychain adorned with ten-foot charms.
- The class boasting the highest percentage of student participation will earn an ice cream party.
- The class with the second highest percentage of student participation will get a pizza party.

Students who raise $100 or more will receive a free Handel’ s 2-scoop ice cream.

The top 20 students with the most donations will be eligible for a raffle and potentially win $100
Look for a copy of these instructions and a sponsor tracking sheet in your Wednesday folder. Please use the tracking sheet for cash and checks only. All other donations should be made through your 99Pledges fundraising page.
