Dragathon is our annual school fundraiser where students seek sponsorship in a fun run. This event is crucial to bolstering our school's programs, aiding our dedicated teachers, and enhancing our facilities.
Dragathon is our annual school fundraiser where students seek sponsorship in a fun run. This event is crucial to bolstering our school's programs, aiding our dedicated teachers, and enhancing our facilities.
We are excited as we gear up for this year’s annual Dragathon! Our students are ready to sprint,
raise funds, and show their Oak Chan spirit. We warmly invite families and friends to join us
at Cohn Park on October 3rd to cheer on our runners!
We've set a fundraising goal of $30,000 and we know this is achievable with the support of our incredible Oak Chan community. We
encourage students to reach out to family, friends, and acquaintances for pledges, while avoiding
traditional door-to-door fundraising.
What is it for?
This year, our students will be running with two important goals in mind:
- Professional-grade sound equipment to elevate all special events on campus.
- PTO projects and programs that enrich learning and cover yearly PTO expenses that directly benefit students.
How do I get started?
Easily create a fundraising page for each of your Oak Chan Students using the 99Pledges platform.
1. Click or scan the QR code.
2. Fill in your student's full Name, Email, and Teacher (group) and click Add.
3. Send the page to friends and family to donate to our school.
Will there be prizes?
To celebrate our students’ efforts, here’s what’s up for grabs:
• 🍦 Ice Cream Party: For the class with the highest participation.
• 🍩 Donut Party: For the class with the second-highest participation.
• 🍨 Handel’s 2-Scoop Ice Cream: For students who raise $100+.
• 🎩 OC Dragathon Hat: For students who raise $150+.
• 🎁 Dragon Spirit Gift Basket: Top 10 fundraisers overall will be entered to win!
We’re counting down the days to Dragathon with excitement and can’t wait to see the energy,
spirit, and generosity of our students and families come to life on October 3rd.
